6 DAYS UGANDA GORILLA AND CHIMPANZEE TREKKING SAFARI
Many different kinds of primates live in Uganda, but the two most well-known are the chimpanzees and mountain gorillas. This safari in Uganda will take you into the dense woods of Kibale and Bwindi Impenetrable National Parks, where you may experience chimpanzee and gorilla trekking, respectively, and come face to face with these incredible primates.
After clearing customs at Entebbe International Airport, a Go Safariz representative will be waiting to take you to your accommodation. It is too late to travel to the national park from the majority of arrival times, which are late in the day or at night. Hence, you will be shifted to the hotel.
Journey time: 20 minutes
The Boma / Hotel No.5 / The Protea Hotel Entebbe
DAY 2
Travel To The Chimps' Habitat
You will be ready to explore the mammal-rich Kibale forest after breakfast. Traveling through rural areas, you will reach your lodging in the late afternoon. You will have time to go for a walk and see what is around, or just relax with a coffee and a good book.

Accommodation: Primate Lodge | Kyaninga Lodge | Ndali Lodge
DAY 3
Trekking Chimpanzees In The Kibale Forest
You will be transferred to the chimp center after breakfast, where you will receive a safety briefing before commencing your trek. With the help of a knowledgeable ranger, your trek through the tropical jungle to see chimpanzees will be an exciting and educational adventure you will not soon forget.
After lunch, you will go for a Swamp walk in the nearby Bigodi hamlet; the money you make will go toward improving the area. The wetlands are a great place to get some fresh air and connect with nature. There is a chance that you will see a troop of red-tailed monkeys during this Uganda safari. There will be opportunities to engage in coffee tasting, banana brewing, basket making, and discussion with the local medicine man during your community visit.
P.S: You can choose to habituate chimpanzees if you are interested. Participating in this activity extends your time in the forest, where you may observe chimpanzees in their natural environment and learn more about their habits.

It is one of the famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites, making it a must-have point for Uganda safari tours.
Whether you go for the landscape or the adventure, the trip to Bwindi will leave you with unforgettable memories. Your drive through the park may take you via rural communities or natural woodlands.

DAY 5
A Gorilla Trek In Uganda
Incredible in their vigor and gentleness, gorillas have earned the nickname “gentle giants” for good reason. Following an early morning breakfast, you will be assigned a gorilla family and a ranger guide to accompany you on your trek through the forest. After a briefing from your ranger guide, you will break into smaller groups to hike with certain families of gorillas in the jungle.
Once you and your guide/trackers have located the gorillas, you will have one hour to spend with them. Depending on where they slept the night before, the gorilla journey can take anywhere from a few minutes to many hours. You should hire a porter to carry your day bag and guide you through the forest’s difficult terrain.
