As the second-largest ape after humans, chimpanzees are thought to be the closest living cousins of us. As a matter of fact, we share 98 percent of our DNA with them. They have a level of intelligence on par with ours, and they construct their own language, use tools, and engage in interpersonal communication.

Wildlife is abundant in Queen Elizabeth National Park as well. There are around 500 species of birds, 200 species of animals, and 100 species of reptiles found there. There are also numerous picturesque waterfalls and landscapes. You can reach Queen Elizabeth National Park from the Kasenyi Game Reserve in about 30 minutes. It is a great spot for stargazing, birdwatching, and chilling out by the fire.

During this safari in Uganda, your journey will involve a boat ride down the Kazinga Channel. A knowledgeable guide will be on board to brief you on the ecosystem and the sights to behold.
