3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Safari

Known for housing more than 450 mountain gorillas, the forest sits at an elevation of 1160 m to 2607 m above sea level. There are members of the Nyakagezi gorilla family that can be viewed on gorilla treks in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. It contains three volcanoes: Gahinga, Sabyinyo, and Muhabura. DAY 1
Depart For The Uganda Gorilla Trekking And Go To The Bwindi Forest
After breakfast, you will go to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to see mountain gorillas in their native environment. Tourists looking for more than just a photographic opportunity can stop at roadside stalls (traditional African shops) and buy a locally made drum from a craftsman. Fruit markets selling exotic food from all across Uganda are another highlight. Following the adventure at the Equator, the group will travel to Mbarara and eat lunch there before continuing on to Bwindi, with brief pit stops along the way for using the restroom and snapping photos of the scenery.

DAY 2
Gorilla Trekking In Uganda
Early in the morning, the guide will take you to the resort at 7 in the morning so that you may begin your gorilla walk at 8 AM. Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers will greet you at the briefing location and ask you to seat till the briefing begins.
At some point during your time in the park, a ranger will provide a quick overview of what to expect as you proceed with this Uganda safari excursion and how you should behave among the locals and the wildlife. After being assigned a gorilla family, you will begin your trip into the jungle. You may need to drive to the trailhead of the designated gorilla family if you live far away.
Consider hiring a porter to help you with your day pack if you’re going on a gorilla hike. The gorillas may not be close to where you begin your walk, and getting to them often requires navigating steep, muddy, and slippery terrain without the right gear.

DAY 3
Travel To Entebbe
You will hit the road on this day and make your way back to Kampala. Get some food at the Equator and take pictures in both the North and South Hemispheres. Your wonderful vacation in Uganda comes to an end.
