TOURISM INTERNSHIPS IN UGANDA
The busy capital city of Kampala is a clear indicator of Uganda’s stability and progress since Idi Amin’s departure in the late 1980s. However, as you leave the urban core, you will find yourself surrounded by verdant rolling hills that give way to game-rich savannahs, dense rainforests, misty highlands (home to the gorillas), and the enormous Lake Victoria. Uganda’s tourist industry lags behind its East African neighbors Kenya and Tanzania by a significant margin. But this is precisely what makes the county the perfect vacation spot for outdoor enthusiasts because there are no opulent hotels or resorts to spoil the natural beauty of the area
To help students get their feet wet in the travel industry, Go Safariz offers tourism internship opportunities In Uganda. Students completing the program will have the skills necessary to conduct tours, including the ability to organize and properly price tours for both individuals and groups. Apart from that, interns will also learn about places that offer tourist services, such as hotels and lodges, how to brief clients, plan safaris, use the language of tourism, make an impression, and get to different tourist spots.
In other words, our tourism medical internships in Uganda will transform them into knowledgeable guides who are ready to contribute to the tourism sector. After their training is complete, we provide a certificate, give referrals, and offer employment opportunities to them as well.
